Couponing tips:

Throw everything you know about grocery shopping out the window…

No more running to the store at 3:00pm everyday to buy what you need for dinner.
No more making one list every week to buy the five meals you are going to cook- regardless of the price.
No more HUGE monthly shopping trip where you spend who knows how much
No more running to the store because you are out of toothpaste and Q-tips
Say Goodbye to those days!

What is a coupon??
A Coupon is a portion of a certificate, ticket, label, advertisement, or the like, set off from the main body by dotted lines or the like to emphasize its separability, entitling the holder to something, as a gift or discount, or for use as an order blank, a contest entry form, etc (according to http://www.dictionary.com)

What is Couponing??
Couponing is a strategic method used by a consumer to get their normal monthly groceries, toiletries, and cleaning supplies for less money.

This is not taking a few coupons to the store to save $.50 or a quarter here or there.

The consumer uses a PLANNED strategy by combining sales/ promotions with coupons to get the best deals possible.
Couponing is not an activity but part of a lifestyle.

What you need to know!!!
You will be going to the store a lot, and you will most likely have a very intimate relationship with certain stores and the checkers who are employed there.

You will have a Year Supply of Toothpaste, Soap, Razors, and Lysol Wipes (among other things) before you can blink!!

Before you know it you will be saving between 50-90% at the grocery store! It’s all about shopping with coupons while a product is on sale- and STOCKING UP so you don’t have to buy something when it’s not cheap or free.
Where to Find Your COUPONS!!

The Sunday Newspaper: Buy 4-6 papers… a good price for a paper is $2 or less… I suggest the Denver Post… if you are in Colorado... or ordering from www.insertinsanity.com

Print Coupons from home: Go to websites like coupons.com, smartsource.com, and redplum.com
Only Print the Coupons YOU ARE going to USE.

You can also order coupons of the internet from ebay or coupon clipping websites like thecouponclippers.com

Also note some stores double coupons. Check your store policy. Also at some stores (ie. Target) You can use one store coupon with one manufacturer's coupon on one item. Also the phrase "Only one coupon per purchase" means One coupon per ITEM you buy not only one coupon per transaction!
